A wrought iron gate heralds the entrance to a central flight of steps leading down to the pool through an avenue of fox-tail palms. The beautiful garden then rolls down to a river located behind its boundary walls. Although the gate is an attractive feature in itself, together with an adjoining fence, it separates the main house from the pool to ensure the safety of young children.
The 18m mango-shaped swimming pool is 1.5m deep, with a large platform area (15cm deep) for kids. It is filled with light salt water rather than chlorine.
The stone pool terrace is furnished with sunloungers, umbrellas, and a table and chairs. On one side is a barbecue pavilion, with a dining table for six, a fridge, and speakers for the sound system. A washroom is situated behind the pavilion. Additionally, there is a poolside relaxation balé, fitted with a colourful mattress and cushions.
